Join TerpAMA
Process
To become a TerpAMA member, make sure to print out and complete both
the
TerpAMA membership and
National membership forms.
You have a variety of options for turning in your forms
and payments
Turn them in to any office at any meeting/event
E-mail the forms to:
terpama@gmail.com and then turn your payment in separately
Drop your forms and payment in the AMA folder in the Undergraduate
Office in Van Munching Hall
Drop your forms off in our office in the Student Involvement Suite in
the Stamp Student Union (0208P)
Payment
You can pay the TerpAMA membership dues with either cash
or checks made out to "American Marketing Association".

Why
Join TerpAMA?
The American Marking Association provides students unique
opportunities to interact with employers on a weekly basis. Students can
use these experiences to:
gain internships
obtain full-time positions
broaden their academic horizons
learn about real world marketing
TerpAMA provides students a better understanding of a variety of marketing
career paths, such as:
advertising
public relations
sports marketing
sales promotions

Make Friends!
In addition to professional events, TerpAMA also hosts many sweet social
events where students will get great chances to meet each other and
network. Some of the social activities include fundraising at Chevys,
raffling tickets to Maryland Terrapin basketball games, and participating
in Relay For Life.
Take Awesome Trips!
TerpAMA takes two major trips each year. In the fall, we travel to New
York City to visit prestigious firms in the heart of the big apple. We
also attend the national AMA conference in New Orleans, which is not only
the most fun you will ever have, but incredibly educational as well.
Leadership Opportunities!
TerpAMA is a student run organization that thrives on motivated and
intelligent Terps. We accept applications for
Executive Positions in the fall and
spring as announced on our website. Come share your vision with us and
help shape the path of TerpAMA.
