What are the responsibilities of a Brand Ambassador?
Brand Ambassadors are responsible for promoting terpAMA and informing students of upcoming events at the terpAMA table once or twice a week (depending on availability), in Van Munching Hall. Brand Ambassadors must also write short blog post on a variety of topics to add content to the terpAMA Facebook page. A strong social media presence is also encouraged through the use of Facebook, Twitter, and Intagram.
What skills to Brand Ambassadors gain from being involved?
Members of the BA team attain valuable communication skills which can be transferred to any work field. Members also gain experience developing content and using social media to communicate to mass audiences. Most importantly however, is the sense of teamwork and pride members gain from working with other students that share a common passion for marketing! The Band Ambassadors truly become a family by the end of the year.
How do I become a Brand Ambassador?
A short application is required to be submitted before becoming a Brand Ambassador. Once completed and reviewed an email will be sent out to potential candidates for a follow up interview.
